Job summary

St. David’s HealthCare in Austin, TX seeks a Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, effective dialysis delivery.

The role requires 1 year of RN experience, ADN with BSN preferred, and an active Texas RN license or Compact License (within 90 days). BLS and ACLS are required. Join a large Texas health system committed to quality care.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
• Current State of Texas RN license or Compact License; Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, develop and implement a plan of care.
• Document care in the patient medical record in a timely manner.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow-up.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe delivery of care.

Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – preferred
