Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience.
• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
• State of Texas RN license (or Compact license) with license by hire date.
• BLS and ACLS certifications as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, report changes.
• Assess patient safety and compliance with standards.
• Assess pain and reassess after interventions.
• Administer medications and monitor responses.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, and follow-up.
