Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Dialysis Team to provide specialized hemodialysis care. You will assess and manage patient care, monitor throughout sessions, administer prescribed treatments, and educate patients and families on treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia RN license or compact licensure.
• BLS certification.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Prior hemodialysis or acute dialysis nursing experience.
• ACLS certification.
• Experience caring for critically ill or medically complex patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients receiving hemodialysis treatments.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatments.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and disease management.
• Collaborate with physicians, nephrologists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
