Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Dialysis Charge Nurse to lead patient-centered care in a dynamic unit. You will coordinate nursing staff, ensure quality outcomes, and partner with management to support clinical excellence. This role emphasizes staff development and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license with ADN or BSN and dialysis-related experience, ready to contribute to a patient-focused culture at Doctors Hospital of Augusta.

Qualifications

Basic Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
RN (Registered Nurse) licensure in good standing.
Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Experience in Hemodialysis, Med/Surg, or Acute Care Dialysis is required.

Responsibilities

Oversee admission and discharge processes for efficient patient flow.
Coordinate nursing care and delegate tasks to staff during shifts.
Collaborate with managers to improve patient outcomes and service.
Support patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when needed.
Assist with staff scheduling and labor management per productivity guidelines.
Manage inventory and supplies as needed.
