Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in state of employment.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification within six months of hire.
• Dialysis experience preferred but not required.
• One year of Medical-Surgical, critical care or dialysis preferred.
• Able to interpret color test strips.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care for assigned patients and families.
• Reviews dialysis therapy patients and assesses clinical status during treatment.
• Assists team in delivery of acute hemodialysis per standards of care.
• Direct care and supervision of nursing care in line with Nurse Practice Act.
