Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Denver is seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse to provide and supervise care for patients on dialysis. You will collaborate with the nursing team to plan discharge, educate patients and families, and coordinate care post-hospitalization.

Prior dialysis experience is required. Licensure, BLS, and ACLS (preferred or required after 90 days) are necessary, with NNCC certification welcomed. ACLS is mandatory from day 1 for Charge Nurses and ICU roles.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you are applying
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment
• ACLS is REQUIRED from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU
• Certification through the NNCC is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct, and supervise patient care on the dialysis unit
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization
• Assist with access to community resources and interdisciplinary planning
• May serve as Charge Nurse; ACLS certification required for that role
• Oversee dialysis treatments as ordered by physicians
