Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Denver is seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse to deliver and coordinate care for patients with kidney conditions. You will work under the supervision of nursing leadership to manage dialysis treatments and ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Required RN license in the applicable state and current BLS; ACLS is preferred initially and required after 90 days. ACLS is required from day one for Charge Nurses, High Observation, and ICU roles.

Responsibilities

• The Dialysis Registered Nurse uses the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise care to patients admitted to the dialysis unit.
• Plans, coordinates, and provides patient care including discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.

We are currently hiring for a Dialysis Registered Nurse.

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Dialysis Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required). Dialysis Nurses are responsible for overseeing dialysis treatments required by patients suffering from acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians.

• Current BLS certification
