Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Dialysis department at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. This full-time role offers a 36-hour work week with a day shift from 06:30 to 19:00 and a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour, depending on experience and credentials.

The RN will perform assessments, administer medications, participate in care planning, and promote patient safety and quality initiatives within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges in the state(s) where services are provided; BLS certification.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation and participates in professional development.
• May float to other units as needed.
