Job summary

Advocate Health's Wake Forest Baptist Dialysis unit seeks a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care in an acute setting. You will engage in professional governance, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes.

Requires nursing degree and RN licensure; BSN preferred. Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience and BLS are required. Schedule is Day Shift 0630-1900, 36 hours per week, with potential to float within the service area.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state compact and/or single-state privileges.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the care team.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Float to other units as needed.
