Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• BLS certification required; RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) served.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Active RN license to practice in the state(s) where services are provided.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patient/family engagement.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and centers patient safety in daily practice.
• Evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes and takes action as needed.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per protocols.
• Demonstrates effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution to support team.
• Pursues ongoing professional development and maintains required certifications.
