Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced RN for the Dialysis unit at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. The position is full-time, day shift (0630-1900), 36 hours per week, with a competitive pay range and comprehensive benefits.

The RN will engage in quality initiatives, utilize the nursing process, monitor patients, and ensure safe, high-quality care across the continuum. Requires active RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• BLS certification.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans.
• Maintains a culture of safety and accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Communicates effectively and collaborates with the care team.
• May float to other units as needed.
