U.S. Renal Care in Dallas, TX, is seeking an RN Charge Nurse to oversee nursing services each shift and supervise staff during operations. The role supports daily patient care and ensures compliance with policies.

Responsibilities include administering medications, assisting physician rounds, and participating in interdisciplinary care planning. The RN Charge Nurse may provide direct dialysis and must maintain licenses and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in applicable state, maintained in good standing.
• 12 months nursing experience, including 3 months dialysis experience.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to distinguish primary colors.
• Leadership experience and ability to act in emergent situations with sound judgment.
• Proficient English communication, written and spoken.
• Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire.
• Must meet state practice requirements (RN addendum).

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services each shift and supervise staff during operations.
• Assist with clinical and operational processes to improve patient health and minimize hospitalizations and missed treatments.
• Administer medications as ordered; document and transcribe physician orders.
• Assist physician during rounds and implement orders timely.
• Assist with anemia management and dialysis protocols as requested.
• Comply with laws and regulations; maintain policy adherence.
• May provide dialysis-related patient care where state allows.
• Respond to clinic emergencies and communicate results to the physician and team.
• Maintain collaborative relations with Medical Director and physicians.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and training of staff.
• Assist in orientation and act as a preceptor; aid in hiring center staff.
• Ensure policies are updated and staff use resources efficiently.
