Job summary

U.S. Renal Care, Inc. is seeking an RN Charge Nurse to oversee nursing services per shift and supervise staff during clinic hours.

This role may involve direct patient care during dialysis when state regulations allow and requires strong clinical and regulatory knowledge. The RN must hold an active license, have dialysis experience, CPR within 90 days, and demonstrate leadership, English proficiency, and computer skills with USRC applications.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in applicable state.
• 12 months nursing care experience, including 3 months with maintenance dialysis.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors (color vision).
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to handle emergent situations with sound judgment.
• Proficient in English (written and verbal).
• Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days.
• Meet any state practice requirements (RN Charge Nurse).

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services each shift and supervise staff on duty.
• Assist with clinical and operational processes to improve patient health and minimize hospitalizations.
• Administer medications as ordered by physician and document actions.
• Assist physician during rounds and implement orders timely.
• Support anemia management and dialysis protocols as requested.
• Respond to emergencies in clinic and communicate patient status to team.
