Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP track in a dialysis setting. The role focuses on assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned patient group, with delegation of tasks to qualified staff as needed.

You will participate in education, team leadership, and quality improvement activities within a health care team. The position involves direct patient care in a hemodialysis environment, adherence to policies and regulations,

Competenze

• RN with entry-level designation into CAP
• Current state licensure
• BLS/CPR certification required

Mansioni

• Perform essential functions under supervision and guidance of the Clinical Educator and RN leadership
• Collect and analyze patient data before, during, and after hemodialysis and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and families about learning needs and care plans
• Deliver safe and effective hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with care staff
• Administer medications per prescriptions or approved algorithms and document outcomes
• Respond to emergencies and participate in staff training and orientation
• Ensure proper laboratory sample collection, processing and shipping
• Document expected outcomes and update nursing assessment and care plans with the Interdisciplinary Team
• Discuss transplant options and treatment modalities with patients
• Complete CAP requirements to advance within the program
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
