Job summary

Northwest Kidney Centers is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Burien Kidney Center on a 0.9 FTE Day Shift from 0445 to 1415. The RN will deliver and document dialysis care, working under the supervision of the charge nurse and fulfilling relief and project duties to support departmental goals.

Required qualifications include an RN license in Washington, an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and AHA BLS. Preferred qualifications include 1 year of nursing and dialysis experience.

Qualifications

• Associate or Baccalaureate degree with a Nursing major.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Washington state.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.

Shift: This role will work 4 x 9 hour shifts Monday through Saturday 0445-1415

Purpose

The Registered Nurse is accountable for the delivery and documentation of care of patients dialyzing at NKC. The nurse is self-directed and accepts and follows leadership from the designated charge nurse, supervisor or manager, and performs relief and/or project duties as related to the overall goals of the department and company.

Required qualifications

• Equivalent of Associate or Baccalaureate degree with a Nursing major
• Current Registered Nursing license in the state of Washington
• American Heart Association BLS

Preferred qualifications

• One year of previous nursing experience
• Prior dialysis experience

This position is eligible for an evening shift premium of $2.50/hour.

This position is eligible for a night shift premium of $3.60/hour

This position is eligible for a weekend premium of $4.00/hour.
