Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress in Cypress, TX is seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality renal care in a 163-bed unit. You will collaborate with nephrologists and a multi-disciplinary team to assess, initiate, monitor and manage hemodialysis therapies in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities include coordinating care with the primary nurse, ensuring safety and continuity, and adhering to regulatory standards while supporting patient-centered outcomes

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing with Texas RN license.
• BSN preferred; BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN Dialysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans and administers comprehensive renal care to adult dialysis patients per physician orders and hospital policies.
• Maintains continuous communication with the primary nurse before, during, and after treatments.
• Manages both acute and chronic dialysis modalities across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Independently executes patient assessment, initiation, monitoring and termination of dialysis.
• Ensures compliance with PSHA, AMI guidelines and local regulatory frameworks.
