Job summary

Avera Grassland Campus in Mitchell, SD is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide dialysis care. You will perform and monitor dialysis treatments, oversee staff, ensure water room operations, document in patient records, and collaborate with Medical Director, nephrologists, families and other teams.

Requires RN license in state, dialysis or critical care experience preferred, and ability to work varied shifts (72hrs/2wks).

• Active RN license in state of practice.
• Dialysis experience or critical care experience preferred.
• Ability to work varied shifts (72hrs/2wks).

Responsibilities

• Performs and maintains knowledge and proficiency in dialysis treatments.
• Provides oversight and delegation to department staff.
• Ensures water room equipment operation and function.
• Documents in the patient record according to policy.
• Complies with CMS/OSHA and other regulatory standards.
• Coordinates care with Medical Director, nephrologist, patients and families.
