UnityPoint Health in Cedar Rapids is seeking aRegistered Nurse for the Dialysis department. This part-time 0.6 FTE role includes Friday and Saturday 12-hour shifts with a $10,000 sign-on eligibility and differential pay opportunities.

The RN delivers safe, high-quality patient care, follows the nursing process, and collaborates with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in Iowa or compact state.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Fluent English written and spoken.
• Proven proficiency in nursing procedures and medications.
• Able to complete EMR training.

Responsibilities

• Assumes plan of care for a patient or group per unit standards.
• Delegates tasks to health care team with follow-up.
• Performs admission assessment with history, physical, psycho-social data.
• Develops mutually established care plan with patient/family.
• Implements care plan per nursing standards and protocols.
• Maintains safe environment and collaborates to achieve outcomes.
• Administers medications and nursing treatments within scope.
• Incorporates Comfort/C.A.R.E. model into daily care.
