Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse to deliver, direct and supervise patient care in the unit under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing.

The RN will plan, coordinate and provide care, including discharge planning, patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources; dialysis duties involve overseeing treatments for patients with kidney failure as ordered by physicians.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state where you apply.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification preferred initially and required after 90 days.
• ACLS is REQUIRED from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU.
• Certification through the NNCC is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct, and supervise care using the nursing process for patients in the unit.
• Plan, coordinate, discharge planning, and family teaching for post-hospitalization, with community resource access.
• Oversee dialysis treatments for patients with kidney failure as ordered by physicians; may serve as Charge Nurse with ACLS requirements.
