Job summary

Health Systems Management, Inc. is seeking Certified Nursing Aides (CNA) who want to train to become Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to support dialysis treatment under the guidance of RNs at our Salem Kidney Center.

The role blends technical tasks with compassionate care to improve patient outcomes and life quality, while training in a supportive environment. Schedule includes full-time four 10-hour shifts starting at 5am, with every other Saturday and no overnights.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong bedside manners and compassionate patient interaction.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly with patients, families and staff.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup of hemodialysis machine and greet patients.
• Document vital signs and fluid removal accurately.
• Support cannulation and monitoring during dialysis under RN supervision.
• Ensure infection control practices and safety protocols are followed.
• Perform duties with attention to patient safety and comfort, including assisting with activities of daily living.
