Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join the dialysis team on-site. You will assist in the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, monitor patient status, document vital signs, and support safety and quality initiatives.

You will work under RN supervision, perform pre/post treatment checks, and contribute to an environment of continuous improvement and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid PCT certification or state-specific certification required.
• CPHT certification is referenced in training materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Monitor and document vital signs and treatment parameters.
• Evaluate vascular access and administer heparin as delegated.
• Maintain a safe, clean clinic environment and equipment.
• Support CQI, infection control, and staff education efforts.
