Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in San Diego, CA is seeking a dialysis technician to operate hemodialysis machines under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will support patient education, monitor treatments, and help maintain a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities include preparing machines, calculating UF goals, recording vitals and treatment data, and assisting with infection control and CQI activities as part of the care team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; CMS/state licensure as applicable.
• Previous patient care experience in hospital or related facility preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines and monitor patient response.
• Evaluate vascular access, initiate dialysis per orders, monitor vital signs.
• Document treatment data and report changes to RN or supervisor.
• Maintain infection control and safety in the facility.
