Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in California is seeking a dialysis technician to join the clinical team. You will assist in the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, monitor patient wellbeing during treatments, and ensure precise documentation of vitals and treatment parameters.

The role requires a High School diploma or G.E.D., CPR certification, and prior patient care experience. You will work under RN supervision in a facility focused on patient safety, quality care, and infection control

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; CPR certification preferred.
• Experience in patient care settings is preferred.
• Ability to follow physician orders and document patient treatment accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Evaluate and monitor patients during dialysis and respond to alarms or issues.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment parameters.
• Perform cannulation and manage vascular access under supervision.
• Prepare initial patient chart and organize lab samples as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control policies.
