Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a qualified dialysis patient care professional to join the health care team under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will assist with the setup and operation of dialysis machines, monitor patient condition, and ensure a clean, safe treatment environment.

Responsibilities include recording vital signs, assisting with vascular access evaluations, complying with CQI activities, training staff, and participating in infection control duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CMS/state certification/licensure required.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training required.
• CPR certification and prior patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and operating dialysis machines.
• Monitor patient condition and vital signs during treatment.
• Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment and adhere to infection control policies.
• Document treatment data and report changes to the RN or supervisor.
• Support CQI activities and education of staff as directed.
