Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care (Schweiz) AG in Alamogordo, NM is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join the on-site dialysis team. You will operate dialysis machines, monitor patients, and support the RN in delivering safe, effective care.

Training is provided, and the role requires a High School diploma or GED with CPR certification and prior patient care experience preferred. You will work in a fast-paced clinical setting, maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• CMS/state licensure requirements must be met.
• CPR certification is required.
• Experience in patient care is preferred.
• Successful completion of a dialysis training program is expected.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and patient response during treatment.
• Maintain a clean, safe dialysis environment and proper infection control.
• Document treatment data accurately in the chart.
• Assist with vascular access checks, cannulation, and UF goals as directed.
