Job summary

Concerto Renal Services is seeking an On-Call Dialysis Patient Care Technician. You will be on call five days a week with variable workdays based on coverage, travel within a designated region, and travel pay plus mileage reimbursement.

You will work under a licensed nurse to provide safe dialysis therapy in compliance with policy and regulations. Responsibilities include direct patient care, vitals, machine operation, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• On-call dialysis patient care technician with nursing supervision.

Responsibilities

• Direct Patient Care under supervision of a licensed nurse, initiating and discontinuing dialysis treatments as prescribed.
• Vital Signs & Monitoring: document vitals, weight, and vascular access assessments.
• Dialysis Machine Operation: set up, operate, and safety-check machines; administer heparin as permitted.
• Documentation & Lab Work: document treatment details and prepare specimens as prescribed.
• Customer Service & Environment: provide courteous service and maintain a clean, safe work area.
