Fresenius Medical Care in Hocking Hills, OH, is seeking a Patient Care Technician / Dialysis Technician Trainee for our outpatient dialysis clinic. This role emphasizes hands-on patient care, safety, and adherence to clinical protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.
• CPR certification and ongoing training may be required.
• Completion of dialysis training program upon hire and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Welcome assigned patients and assess wellbeing since last treatment.
• Operate dialysis machines and assist in vascular access cannulation as directed.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment parameters accurately.
• Initiate dialysis per orders including QB and QD settings.
• Monitor patient response and intervene as prescribed by physician order.
• Document treatment data and ensure chart completeness.
• Maintain infection control and environmental cleanliness per policy.
• Participate in CQI activities and staff training under RN supervision.
