Job summary

U.S. Renal Care in Mission, Texas is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join a cross-functional team providing dialysis care to patients.

You will perform essential treatment activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, initiating and monitoring treatments, collecting samples, and maintaining safety and quality by cleaning machines and following protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients
• Healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus
• Ability to safely mix and prepare chemical solutions following strict safety protocols
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors

Responsibilities

• Patient care: provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment, monitor vital signs and collect samples as directed
• Safety & Quality: disinfect machines, perform safety checks, and log results per protocols
• Partnership: work with interdisciplinary team under supervision, attend staff meetings and trainings
