Job summary

U.S. Renal Care, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our dialysis team. The role involves direct patient care, assisting with dialysis treatments, and performing safety checks under supervision of a Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse.

The position emphasizes patient safety, adherence to protocols, and active participation in ongoing staff education and care planning to support patients with kidney disease across the network.

Qualifications

• Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• Ability to safely mix and prepare chemical solutions following strict safety protocols.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire or as required by state.
• PCT certification must be obtained through a state certification program or national program within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and dialysis treatment under RN/Charge Nurse supervision.
• Perform safety and quality tasks including machine prep, cleaning, disinfecting, and logs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on patient assessments and care planning.
