Job summary

DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. You will provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

The role involves setting up and maintaining dialysis equipment, monitoring vitals, educating patients, and collaborating with the care team to ensure quality outcomes. Flexible scheduling is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent
• Comfortable around blood and needles
• Physically able to stand long shifts
• Willing to float between local clinics
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
• Record vital signs and patient data
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
