Job summary

DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support end-stage renal disease patients in outpatient dialysis clinics. You will provide hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis and educating them on treatment and kidney health.

Qualifications

• Accredited High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Physically able to stand for long shifts.
• Willing to float between local clinics as needed.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic dialysis care.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Record vital signs and patient data.
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and care team.
