Job summary

Central Florida Kidney Centers, Inc is seeking a Patient Care Technician (CCHT/CHT) at our Orlando Palm Bay clinic to assist the registered nurse in delivering high-quality dialysis care.

You will set up machines, initiate and monitor treatments, help educate patients, and ensure unit safety by shutting down water systems when needed.

Qualified candidates will hold CCHT/CHT certification and CPR/BLS, with a focus on compassionate patient interactions and teamwork.

Qualifications

• CCHT or CHT certification is required.
• CPR and BLS certification required.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN in providing dialysis treatments.
• Set up and clean dialysis machines and dialyzers.
• Initiate, monitor, and terminate dialysis treatments as directed.
• Close the unit periodically and ensure water system shutdowns when needed.
• Educate patients about care and procedures.
• Participate in treatments and procedures as assigned.
