Job summary

Central Florida Kidney Centers, Inc. in Orlando is seeking a Patient Care Technician (CCHT/CHT) to work at our Palm Bay dialysis clinic.

You will assist the Registered Nurse in delivering high-quality patient care and operate dialysis equipment under supervision. Responsibilities include setting up and cleaning machines and dialyzers, initiating, monitoring, and terminating treatments, and participating in patient education and day-to-day unit operations.

Qualifications

• CCHT or CHT certified.
• CPR and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for dialysis treatments on the patients assigned under the direction of the registered nurse.
• Set up and clean machines & dialyzers.
• Initiate, monitor, & terminate treatments.
• Periodically close the unit, including shutting down the water system and ozone.
• Participates in patient education.
• Participates in treatments and procedures as assigned.
