Job summary

Satellite Healthcare is seeking a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse within our centers. You will greet patients on the treatment floor, ensure comfort, and advocate for patients while effectively communicating with the care team.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, and CHT certifications as applicable by state regulations, including CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, G.E.D. certificate, or equivalent.
• Six (6) months of active hemodialysis patient care experience as a certified hemodialysis technician.
• BONENT (CHT)/NNCC (CCHT)/NNCO (CCNT) certification (per state regulations) California Department of Public Health CHT certification (required only for CA locations) Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, following Satellite policies and procedures as per state Scope of Practice.
• Be the first team member to greet patients on the treatment floor and help them feel comfortable during their stay.
• Advocate for patients and communicate with the care team to deliver quality care.
