Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Spokane, WA is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join the dialysis health care team. You will assist in setting up and operating dialysis machines, monitor patients, and document treatment data under RN supervision.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, CMS state or national certification, CPR, and prior patient care experience. This is full-time onsite work with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training may be required.
• Demonstrated commitment to organization culture, values, and customer service standards.
• Previous patient care experience in a hospital or related facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines under supervision.
• Monitor patients during dialysis and record vital signs and treatment data.
• Evaluate vascular access and perform cannulation as delegated; administer heparin as allowed.
• Prepare, document, and organize treatment sheets and lab specimens as required.
