Manpower is seeking a Dialysis Patient Care Tech for a 13-week local contract in Cleveland, OH. You will support hemodialysis treatments under a licensed nurse, perform assessments, cannulation, machine setup, and infection prevention duties.

Qualifications

• 1+ year dialysis patient care experience within the last 2 years.
• Current CMS-approved state and/or national dialysis technician certification, or ability to obtain within required timelines.
• All applicable state licensure, education, and training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and assess well-being before treatment.
• Document pre- and post-treatment vital signs, weights, and assessments.
• Cannulate vascular access sites and monitor treatments.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot dialysis machines; monitor alarms.
• Administer heparin as delegated and per regulations.
• Monitor patient response and report changes to RN/supervisor.
• Document treatment details and patient responses in clinical systems.
• Provide patient education and infection control adherence.
