Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• CMS-approved state or national certification requirements.
• Experience in dialysis patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and assess well-being before dialysis.
• Record pre/post-treatment vitals, weights and assessments.
• Monitor vascular access patency and cannulation.
• Set up and operate dialysis machines with safety checks.
• Document treatment data and patient responses in clinical systems.
• Educate patients about dialysis adequacy and care.
