Job summary

U.S. Renal Care in Iowa is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join a cross-functional team and provide dialysis treatment under supervision. You will be part of a care team ensuring high-quality care for patients with renal failure.

You will handle patient stats before/after treatment, assist with treatment initiation, monitor patients, and assist in blood sample collection per physician orders. Training and safety practices are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
• Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
• Must be comfortable mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during dialysis to ensure safety and comfort.
• Prepare machines, monitor treatment, and collect patient data per orders.
• Perform machine cleaning, safety checks, and document results per protocol.
