Job summary

Dialysis Care Center in Hershey, PA seeks a Patient Care Tech - FLOAT to support several clinic locations. The role blends patient care with administrative tasks and offers growth into dialysis tech duties.

You will monitor patients, assist with hemodialysis, document observations, manage supplies, and ensure billing flow sheets are accurate while complying with CMS, HIPAA, OSHA, and center policies.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School diploma or GED.
• Current CCHT, Bonent or state required certificate.
• Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting; experience in Microsoft Office Suite Outlook, Word and Excel a must.

Responsibilities

• Float to regional DCC clinic facilities.
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition; document observations.
• Take fluid samples or other specimens for testing and shipping prep.
• Assist nursing staff with basic dialysis therapy.
• Monitor and document patient status and vascular accesses under RN direction.
• Review lab work, physician orders and reinforce treatment care with patient.
