Job summary

The role provides direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, assisting with the setup and operation of dialysis therapy and maintaining a safe treatment environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, recording data, and supporting education for patients, with travel between centers as part of duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification required or preferred.
• CMS/state certification requirements applicable in state of employment.
• Experience in healthcare settings is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines under RN supervision.
• Monitor patient condition and vital signs during treatment.
• Maintain safe, clean treatment areas and equipment.
• Document treatment data and notes accurately in records.
• Support education and transition of patients to post-treatment care.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
