Job summary

DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients undergoing outpatient dialysis. You will provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients during the life-sustaining treatment and ensuring comfort.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to work long shifts, and flexibility to float between clinics. Training is provided, with full benefits and opportunities for career growth within DaVita.

Qualifications

• Accredited High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Record vital signs and patient data.
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
