Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the United States seeks a patient-focused dialysis technician to join the care team. Under supervision of a licensed nurse, you will set up and operate hemodialysis machines and ensure a safe, clean treatment environment.

You will monitor patients, record vital signs, adjust parameters as prescribed, educate patients about treatment adequacy, and participate in CQI activities to improve outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must meet CMS state/national certification requirements.
• CPR certification preferred or required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate dialysis machines.
• Monitor patient vitals and response to therapy.
• Maintain clean, safe treatment area and disinfect equipment.
• Record treatment data accurately.
• Assist with patient education on dialysis.
• Observe infection control practices.
