Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Mentor, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outpatient dialysis team. This entry-level CAP1 position provides training and the opportunity to develop nursing expertise in nephrology while delivering high-quality patient care.

No prior dialysis experience is required as comprehensive paid training is provided, with three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week and every-other-Saturday. You will work with a collaborative team to support patient care goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Monitor hemodialysis patients and document in medical records; adjust treatment plan as needed.
• Educate patients and families about care and treatment options.
• Administer medications per protocol.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team and quality improvement activities.
