Job summary

Fresenius Kidney Care in Covington, GA seeks an RN CAP 2 to join our outpatient team. The role involves coordinating clinically competent care, assessing patients, planning interventions, and evaluating outcomes for an assigned group of dialysis patients.

You may delegate tasks to care staff and participate in teaching and quality improvement activities. Qualified candidates will have RN licensure, CPR/BLS, and at least 3 months of nephrology nursing experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state where employed is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Minimum 3 months dialysis nursing experience as an RN.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients undergoing hemodialysis.
• Document patient data and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide education to patients and families about dialysis options and care.
• Supervise and mentor Patient Care Technicians, LVNs/LPNs, and junior RNs as assigned.
• Adhere to Fresenius Kidney Care policies and regulatory requirements.
