Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center in Palmdale, CA is seeking an experienced RN to provide safe, patient-centred dialysis care and to lead the dialysis team.

You will supervise dialysis staff, coordinate daily operations, ensure machine maintenance and supply levels, and deliver orientation and performance feedback. A current RN license with BLS/ACLS is required, plus PALS/NRP and CPI within 30 days as applicable.

Qualifications

• Prefer one-year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care setting.
• Minimum 1-year supervisory experience.
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• BLS and ACLS (current on hire); current state nursing license.
• PALS or NRP (current or obtained within 90 days of employment)
• CPI is required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Supervise dialysis staff; coordinate daily functions and delegation.
• Maintain competencies and skills checklists for dialysis staff and ensure machines are maintained.
• Provide orientation to new dialysis staff and evaluate staff performance.
