Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our in-center hemodialysis team in Albany, GA. This full-time role involves four 10-hour shifts starting at 5am, Sundays off, and no overnights.

You will provide nursing care under an RN, monitor treatment, manage lab work, and participate in infection control while learning water treatment concepts and patient education. A GA LPN license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Accredited practical nursing program completion.
• Current GALPN license.
• CPR/AED certification and IV therapy training are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, provide nursing care throughout patient assessment, initiation and discontinuation of treatment.
• Monitor during and after treatment and obtain necessary lab work.
• Assess and monitor patient access with appropriate interventions.
• Follow infection control policies and procedures.
• Understand water treatment concepts and effects on patient care.
• Communicate with charge nurse about patient condition changes.
