Dialysis Clinic, Inc. in Albany, NY is seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our nonprofit in-center hemodialysis unit. You will provide specialized nursing care, monitor patients, and educate families to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Accredited nursing degree required
• RN license is required
• Dialysis experience not required; job shadow opportunities available
• New graduates encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Prepare dialysis machine and supplies and ensure quality standards
• Perform hemodialysis treatments as per policies
• Provide ongoing patient education and health coaching
• Monitor patients during dialysis and communicate changes to physicians and families
• Administer and chart prescribed medications
• Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
• Participate in patient care conferences and rounds
• Maintain documentation of patient education
• Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
• Assist in medication inventory maintenance
• Lead a small patient care team
• Contribute to onboarding new staff as directed
• Support other tasks as requested
