Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is recruiting a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide compassionate in-center hemodialysis care in a four 10-hour shift schedule starting at 5:30am. The Avon home clinic covers Manchester once weekly as needed.

Pay ranges from $30.00-$44.30 per hour based on nursing and dialysis experience, with a robust benefits package including paid training, medical/dental/vision, PTO, retirement matching, and education reimbursement.

Formación

• Accredited practical nursing program completion.
• Current CT LPN license.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Dialysis experience preferred, not required.
• State IV therapy training requirements, if applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Role under direct RN supervision.
• Provide nursing care during patient assessment, initiation and discontinuation of treatment, monitor and obtain lab work.
• Assess and monitor patient’s access with intervention as appropriate.
• Follow clinic infection control policies and procedures.
• Understand concepts of water treatment and effects on patient care.
• Communicate to charge nurse about patient condition changes.
• Comply with clinic risk management program.
• Educate patient regarding medications within scope of practice.
• Attend required training and staff meetings to maintain and expand skills.
