Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our in-center hemodialysis clinic.

This PRN role offers approximately 20 hours per week and a starting pay of $21.50 per hour, with nursing care provided under RN supervision in a compassionate, mission-driven nonprofit setting. You will perform patient assessments, manage treatment initiation and discontinuation, and monitor lab work while adhering to infection control and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Accredited practical nursing program completion.
• Dialysis experience preferred, not required.
• Current GALPN license.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Current state IV therapy training requirements, if applicable.
• DCI provides a comprehensive education program, including classroom group sessions, job shadowing and one‑on‑one skills training.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under RN supervision.
• Assess and monitor patient during and after treatment.
• Obtain necessary lab work.
• Monitor patient access and intervene as appropriate.
• Follow clinic infection control policies and procedures.
• Understand concepts of water treatment and effects on patient care.
• Communicate patient condition changes to charge nurse.
• Administer and educate patient regarding medications within scope of practice.
• Attend required training and staff meetings to maintain and expand skills.
