Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Biomedical Technician to oversee the maintenance and repair of water treatment and dialysis equipment at assigned clinics. The role emphasizes patient safety, adherence to protocols, and collaboration with staff and administrators.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, safety testing, inventory support, and coordinating with contractors for urgent repairs. Prior dialysis or medical experience is preferred, with a valid driver's license and strong English

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license in applicable state and good driving record.
• Prior dialysis, hospital, or medical experience preferred.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• Ability to react and perform under stress and in emergencies.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as with others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair of water treatment, medical equipment, and electrical/mechanical systems to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Perform water quality checks (free/ total chlorine, hardness) and routine safety tests on pretreatment equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate dialysis machines, RO units, and related systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and preventive maintenance programs.
• Assist in inventory control, purchasing, and liaison with contractors for emergency repairs.
• Prepare technical summaries and present at QAPI meetings.
• Promote guest customer service standards and collaborate with administrators.
